Instructor
Anthony V. Sonyushkin Senior Software Developer
SCANEX Research & Development Centre, Russia
Description
Workshop is dedicated to remote sensing data processing up to the level of thematic end-products. Software product line, demonstrated to the audience, has been worked out by ScanEx Research & Development Center using efficient innovative techniques of image processing and designed for the remotely sensed data analysis and processing. These powerful but easy-to-use software products make it possible even for beginners to efficiently process the remote sensing data for a wide range of applications. In most cases the complete functionality and unique features of software allows the user to create finished remote sensing products cost-effectively without involving additional software tools.
The workshop provides an overview of remote sensing software product line by ScanEx. This product line includes three software products for Microsoft Windows: ScanMagic®, ScanEx Image Processor® and ScanEx NeRIS®. The purpose, technical features and advantages of these software products will be reviewed. It will be demonstrated how easily the end- products can be created using the applications’ tools. You will be able to compare our software products with other commercial off-the-shelf software for processing remotely sensed data in terms of processing quality, user-friendly approach, affordability, functionality and image processing time.
